Home Sweet Home

We made it home!! The boys did fairly well for the airplane trip and Ben made record time driving straight from Austin to home in 15 hours!! It's good to be back....especially seeing family! We've just finally unpacked and are now packing to go to Cali to visit my mom this weekend.

We've been taking care of car business, got some haircuts, and received our new Dell XPS One. It is super high-tech (at least for us)! We got a good discount through the internship and didn't even realize it was going to be so nice...20" widescreen, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB memory, 250GB hard drive, wireless mouse and keyboard, bluetooth, webcam, built-in speakers, and of course, no tower. It's all built into the screen. We've loved fiddling with it and figure we can use it to watch movies too since it even has a remote control! Here are some pictures:

Sam also hit a milestone and just started preschool on Tuesday and is enjoying Miss Kim's class. It's twice a week for 2.5 hours. Sam is really getting big. His recent tricks are dressing all by himself (he can even do buttons, though he might not get the right hole with the right button)! He usually likes to dress somewhere where we can't see him and then when he's done, he'll join us and shout "Ta Dah!" His vocabulary is amazing...I can't believe his proper use of grammar and big words. He has also been a sweetheart with other kids and playing really nicely with them when before, he had trouble sharing. We love our Sammy!

We've been trying to keep cool. We buzzed the boys' hair and today, we got into swimsuits and washed the car. Sam loved being behind the hose and spraying the car...and us! We didn't complain because it felt so refreshing!
